What we look for

A clear buy box.

Goodyear Acquisitions looks for established, profitable companies to buy and stay with, and more than one can fit over time. If a company matches the list below, it is worth a conversation. If it does not, we will say so early.

01

Established

An operating company with customers, people, and a record you can walk through. Not a startup, and not a concept on a slide.

02

Profitable

Cash flow that is real and explainable. The business should work on the day it changes hands.

03

Roughly $1–5 million

A purchase price in that range. Large enough to stand on its own. Small enough that the new owner can still know the customers.

04

A real transition

You are thinking about retirement, a next chapter, or stepping back, and you care who owns it after you.

05

Northeast first

Westchester and the broader Northeast are home. The right business somewhere else is still worth a conversation.

Why sell to GAQ

The buyer is part of the price.

Owners sell to a person, not only to a number. This is what working with Goodyear Acquisitions is meant to feel like.

Continuity

Employees stay. Customers keep the company they already know. The name on the building can stay, too.

Owners who stay

Our team buys companies and stays with them. After each closing, Goodyear Acquisitions remains the owner and stays engaged — strategy, growth, and supporting the team — rather than flipping the business or stepping away.

Fair, and direct

A straight conversation, a clear look at the numbers, and a yes or a no. No auction theater and no wandering process.

Confidential

Employees, customers, and competitors do not need to hear that you are exploring a sale until you want them to.

Process

How a conversation becomes a closing.

Five steps. You can stop at any of them. Brokers and lenders are welcome at the first one.

  1. 01

    Reach out

A note through the form. Share what you are comfortable sharing.

  2. 02

    A first conversation

We listen. You decide whether a second meeting is worth your time.

  3. 03

    Confirm the fit

Earnings, customers, and why you are selling — enough to know the company belongs in the buy box.

  4. 04

    Diligence and terms

A focused review and a written offer. We move promptly, and we say so when we will not.

  5. 05

    Close, then stay

After closing, Goodyear Acquisitions becomes the new owner and stays actively involved, working on the business — strategy, growth, and supporting the team — rather than flipping it or stepping away.
